For years, I followed the traditional path—working a 9-to-5 job, paying the bills, and chasing stability. But deep inside, I felt there was something more. I had a passion for creativity, for thoughtful gifting, and for bringing joy to others in a way that was personal and meaningful. That passion eventually led me to take the leap and start Cindy Walsgott Creations, my dream business dedicated to beautifully curated baby gifts.
Our Story
Founded by Cindy Walsgott, a Zimbabwean entrepreneur who moved to Australia in 2007, our business was born from a passion for creating meaningful gifts that leave a lasting impression. Like many, I once believed that success meant climbing the corporate ladder. But something changed when I realized that my heart wasn’t in it. I wanted to create, to build something of my own—something that made a difference. Leaving my steady job was scary, but I knew I had to take a chance on myself.
I started small, designing nappy cakes, hampers, and baby crates from my home, carefully selecting products that parents would love and cherish. My goal was simple: to create gifts that weren’t just beautiful but also practical, memorable, and filled with love.
Starting a business wasn’t easy. There were late nights, financial worries, and moments of self-doubt. But there were also victories—my first sale, my first returning customer, and the heartwarming messages from parents who adored my creations. Those little wins fueled my passion and reminded me why I took this leap in the first place.
We are starting off by perfecting our line of handcrafted baby gifts, but our vision doesn’t stop there! As we grow, we are excited to expand our offerings to include an extended baby product range, gifts for parents, corporate gifting, and thoughtful presents for him & her—ensuring that no special occasion goes without a meaningful touch.
